At Bug Away, we are proud to be a locally owned out of Caldwell/Rougemont, NC, family-operated pest control company built on experience, education, and a strong connection to the community we serve.

Before entering the pest control industry, our family spent years in lawn maintenance and land management, caring for and managing more than 300 acres of property. That hands-on experience gave us a deep understanding of landscapes, ecosystems, and the environmental factors that contribute to pest activity.

Our knowledge and experience led us to pursue professional training, education, and licensing in pest management. We are licensed professionals who combine real-world experience with industry standards to provide proper pest management, effective solutions tailored to each property.

Our ownership group includes members of the Walker family, a family with deep roots in the local community dating back generations. Their longstanding connection to the area reflects the same values we bring to every customer: trust, hard work, and dedication to serving our neighbors.
